Parts list for Nav Conversion?

I have a 2008 TL without the navi and was toying with the idea of installing the factory navi with backup camera. I've been scouring the forum researching this and was wondering if somebody who already did this mod has a list of all necessary parts needed for the mod (wiring harnesses, gps antenna, dvd player etc...)

This guy sells the "entire kit" on ebay for $1700 http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-ACURA-TL-OEM-COMPLETE-NAVIGATION-SYSTEM-EAZY-TO-INSTALL-KIT-/231115194904?pt=Car_Audio_Video&hash=item35cf8a0218&vxp=mtr, but I suspect if i bought all of the parts individually i could save quite a bit. If anybody has a parts list of all necessary parts that would be amazing.

Disclaimer:
I know this topic has been explored hundreds of times on here. Before posting this i used the search function to see if there was an existing answer to this question, but i couldn't find one.

honestly it's not worth it IMHO. Guys are installing tablets now days that look and perform 10x better than those NAVIs. Some are even taking out their stock NAVIs and replacing them with tablets. Also for much much much cheaper

Step 1*: Locate a car with factory nav and b/u cam, and purchase the car
Step 2*: Sell your current car

*Steps 1&2 can be interchanged in regard to order.

To be honest its probably not worth your while. As myron said ,Most folks in your situation are retrofitting tablets in the dash. While the stock navi still works great and looks nice its becoming a bit outdated.

It does seem like a lot of work for the return, and I can't justify spending that much one something I don't really need. I honestly don't care about actually having the navi which sounds senseless. I had a 2003 TL S Type that i loved that have the navi. I think that i miss the aesthetics of having that big glowing screen there or something.

What i am interested in though, and what was my main incentive for looking into this is because i want a "backup cam" that i can engage whenever. Maybe this could all be rigged up with a tablet as the central device? With a tablet could one also add additional screens in the headrests lets say? Or even a DVD player? How would that all hookup to a tablet, i mean usually tablets have no inputs at all.

Also how the hell does the Climate control stuff work with the absence of that panel?

yea but dont you have to pay for the cellular data for the tablet which could get costly due to using data to constantly listen to the radio and/or have navi running? or how does the whole tablet thing work? also wouldnt you have to compromise the use of the steering wheel functions?

I have a question then: I just bought a 04 tl with no navi and would like to know what is a suitable tablet to install into the dash and would the tablets have the capabilities to operate navigation. Your advice is appreciated.

From my research you can get a tablet in there but practically speaking the lack of interface inputs/outputs and the above mentioned cellular data service makes it impractical.
