Not trying to be a pain but its funny that the links work now. I am using the same browser and I have made no adjustments.

I am just happy to customize my oh so retarded navi system.

couldn't download the hack file, link didn't work on my computer.
Then had a friend download it for me, he waited till the button changes to "click here to download" and when unzipping, it says file damaged or something.

Can someone send the unzipped file to me directly? Need help here.

I tried both the new and the old link to download the file, also tried with 3 different computers, all said corrupted. Same problem here. Don't know why.

Very strange, that file was NOT corrupt when I posted it lastnight.
I sense a problem on savefiles.net being that this is the second time the file ended up corrupt

I will repost again tonight on different host.

I have this same thing happening but it happened before I even got to this mod... It happened after I changed the Image. Can anybody help me...

It seems like you are using a pre-patched bin file (an old one at that). Yours seem to have been pre-patched with the disclaimer text mod. Try to locate the correct files for your particular version and try again.

So you're totally able to download the navi.exe but the file doesn't unpack when you try to unpack. I've also tried using the patch and the navi.exe from my 3.50 disk and no luck...

I got it working. Nevermind! I packed a smaller navi.exe in the bin file rather than use a bin with the original navi.exe, that's why dumpnavi wouldn't update the navi.exe since the file was smaller then the original.

So no one had any trouble with the bin file being too big when they try to update it with the new navi.exe? I get this when I try:

I just inserted my 3.A0 orange disc...I was upgrading from the stock disc (3.40C)...the only hack I had was the splash screen...which it promptly reset to factory...blah!

A few other threads seem to indicate that going from 3.8+ to 3.A0 keep hacks intact...

4.XX nav needs to be hack with this. If you place a problem like this in XDA-developers it would hack withing hours.

It does

You have to reapply your customization using your own disc with the hack on it.
Just follow the same instructions you used when you applied the hack to your 3.40c install.

does any one have a link to a navi.exe patch or have it on file where the whole disclaimer screen can be modified simply by deleting the text and typing ur own in a hex editor?

im getting help from techy friend but messed up. were gonna try again this weekend but im trying to save the trouble
