Do you know if the previous owner replaced all the speakers, or just the fronts? There are a total of 6 channels, one being the sub. OEM amp is in the passenger kick panel. There is a wiring diagram if you search for "wiring diagram" in this section. Its even the title of the thread.
Before you go ordering stuff, try and find out the make/model of the speakers and which ones were replaced. Also check the kick panel to see what the wiring situation is. Look for modified wires in the harness there.

There is actually a thread on the OEM amp.
OEM amp is a 6 channel amp 25W/ch for the front L,R,C and Rear L,R and 100 W/ch for the sub. The front components are run in parallel.
The amp is located in the passanger side kick pannel.

You might consider buying a 4 channel. Use the front 2 channels for your front components and bridge the rear channel for a sub. The stock amp would likely be fine for the center and rear speakers.
You are likely going to need to know what speaker were installed.

Just to reiterate...
1. Take off door panel (super easy) and figure out what mids are in there. Same with tweeters in dash. Do you see a x-over anywhere? Maybe in the trunk or up under the dash or in the kick-panel?
2. Do you have an aftermarket sub or did he also replace the factory 8" with a different 8"?

Polk Audio DB651's in the doors and rear deck
10' Kicker sub with a Sony Amp.
I have not looked at it very close but they have power from battery to the trunk for the amp
