No Pause button?

This may be dumb, but I was listening to those old CD's in my TL the other day with my girlfriend and she got a phone call and asked me to pause it and that is when I realized there is no pause and you just shut it off. I looked and didn't see anything. So is there one? Or did Honda just say "oh they can just shut it off if they want to pause it"?

^I think you hit the #6 to pause, it's been awhile, my CD player doesn't work at the moment.

Close - You have to hit the radio preset button that corresponds to the number of the CD that is playing. So if you have a CD loaded in the first position, you just hit the "1" preset, if it is loaded in the second position, then hit "2" and so on.

No worries. How often are folks listening to CDs now a days??

No offense to the OP - I have about 1000 CDs but have all been ripped. And truth be told I think I have 3 or 4 CDs in my car right now - but haven't listened to them in quite some time...........

Haha Thank you both. I thought there would be but I would have never guessed that is how you pause. I would like to not use CDs lol but I have yet to install an auxiliary hook up which I would like to do. Is there a DIY for that for the 04-06? I have navigation. Any suggestions for brands?

....
Almost every day, although I burn a lot of them to DVD-Audio so as to carry more music without taking up more space in the car.

Not that it matters at all but you can hit any of the presets to play again. I found that by accident after forgetting which disk I had paused.

I also found out to empty out all 6 discs you hold down the eject button for a few seconds by accident.

Probably. From '05 to '10 I had no idea the steering wheel was telescoping and I always wished it could be brought closer to me.

It was a year before I learned I could roll the windows down and open the sunroof with the remote.

Another few years before I learned you could not only repeat a track but repeat the entire disk. Or maybe it was the other way around.

I think it took me a few years to find the '04-'06 navi diagnostics screen.

Not a feature but I learned the hard way that the volume ramps up slowly when you turn the car off with the volume cranked. I happened to have............ Madonna in the CD player and I had just picked up a chick I just met. As I turned it down in panic it took what seemed like an eternity to go down because it was ramping up as I was turning it down lol.

I know there are more things that took me years to figure out even though I'm the original owner and the car had an owner's manual.

To change groups on a DVD-Audi disc, hold down "SCAN" and "RPT" at the same time until you hear a beep (same beep you hear when you program radio presets). I have DVD-A discs with as many as seven groups, so this feature is key for me, and it is not mentioned in the manual.

Haha it took me 2 years to figure out the steering wheel and the windows with the remote. I am unfamiliar with the navi diagnostic screen. For you I am surprised they didnt tell you when you purchased it. I also learned that as a feature to keep the cabin comfortable and dry with heat in the winter the ac compressor kicks on and you have to make sure to hit a/c off so it doesn't turn on. I always shut it off I don't find it necessary for ac in the winter lol.
