Nextel Bluetooth??

I'm upgrading my nextel phone and i was told that they make an adapter that will make their newer phones bluetooth. Is this true??? Will it make the phone work with the TL???

there are bluetooth adapters for all the nextel phones, but they aren't that great. it is basically something that plug into the headphone jack, and then that piece is bluetooth with the headset.

it's a plug-in adapter that doesn't do much. stay away.

Nextel has been talking about releasing the i930 for a while now, that is a smartphone that may have bluetooth, but every report about it is different, some say it has t, some say it doesnt. the blackberry and one other model both come with bluetooth, but i am told that the blackberry sucks.

The i930 and a BT enabled phone similar to the i860 will be released in September. The i930 probably will not have BT.

I don't know about you, but I am so disgruntled with Nextel. I need the direct connect for my job, so I'm stuck. My wife got the coolest little phone from her provider that has bluetooth, pairs with the TL, and cost her $50.

Hopefully, they'll take the hint from Sprint, and introduce some cooler phones. The i605 (their only BT phone besides the Blackberry), is just not that great and costs $299. Come on...

I tried the BT adapter on my i730, and everyone is correct. It does not work. Had to try though.

Yeah I can't understand why they are offering bar code readers on their (NEXTEL) phones now but can't step up with BT
