I have a new 05' Acura TL and a brand new Moto v710. Everything works great accept when I have an incoming call. As soon as I hit the talk button the phone I can hear the other party or noise for about a second and the phone hangs up? I currently am using the voice prompt vs. the ring tone to notify me of the incoming call. What is going on here? In addition, when I am in the car, the phone shows 5 bars but on my dash display it never shows any bars. Can someone help me here? Other than that all the other functions and commands work.

Do a search for your problem. Many of us have your problem. There is a workaround.

 

got the same problem. you must have your phone set on voice annoucement when you get incoming calls instead of ring tone. this is causing the problem, switch back to ring tone and it should work.

 

And as for the battery meter not in the MID, its a firmware update to the phone you have... I have NOT gotten the update from the big V yet and no bars for me either. Some have had luck with the firmware upgrade, some haven't. I'm waiting until Verizon has the update down pat.
