More Bluetooth Troubles!
All of a sudden my bluetooth system (which has worked flawlessly for 10,000 miles) is screwing up. I have a Motorola V710. Whats happening is this:
I can make outgoing calls, no problem. When the audio system is on, the volume will automatically decrease during the duration of the call and everything returns to normal when the call is finished . . .
The problem is INCOMING calls. As the call comes in, the audio volume goes down, the car announces that I have an incoming call, and I hit the button on the steering wheel to answer - as soon as I do that, the stereo volume goes back up to where it was, and the car acts like it just dropped the call. HOWEVER, the person calling can not only hear me, but he or she can also hear my stereo playing. I CAN'T HEAR THEM AT ALL.
THIS ONLY HAPPENS ON INCOMING CALLS - outgoing is fine. The car is an '05 TL, auto trans, no nav. I ran diagnostic on the HFL and its says everything is fine, but obviously it is not! Anybody have this happen to them?
HELP!!!!

Okay, thanks for the replies . . .
I took two cell phones into the car to check it out, and here is what happened:
First, I changed the ring style to "silent". The phone acted normally, and took the incoming calls normally.
I then changed it to "vibrate" - everything still fine.
I then changed it to "loud" - everything fine.
"soft" - everything fine.
Then, I went back to "vibe then ring" (the original setting) and, EVERYTHINGS FINE.
WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON WITH THIS POS MOTOROLA!!
Again guys, thanks for the input. Thought the car was a piece of crap when the real piece of crap is the phone . . .
