Looking into upgrading my Audio...
Title says it, I'm looking into the Massive Audio Ck6's for the fronts... but what about the rears? Can you guys recommend me something good that can work with my interior aftermarket amp...
At the moment I have on front and rear Infinity Kappa forgot which model...
this is the amp Im using for interior speakers
Alpine PDX 4.150
I am only using a single 10" Kicker L7, this amp is helping it bump
Alpine Vpower MRP-M650
plus I'm using a Clarion MCD360 ( don't mind me on this had it on my previous car thats why i installed it back )
any help would be great...

I think I can predict the general response you will get to this question. Something like, "Leave the rears alone and use the extra money for better fronts"

That's it. Dump the majority of your money into the front speakers if sound quality is your goal.

I agree here. We need to know what you like the least and your budget for this. If it were me, I'd bridge that amp and pick up some components. Factor in money for deadening (and sealing if you can) or it's only 50% done.

It would be interesting to take the sub up a little higher and re-evaluate.

Eggy- I've read a lot of great car audio post from you but I got to know, what do you drive and where in the bx you located?? Lol
Also, Abp doesn't have a clue why his lpf is at 50hz... this install is probbly 4 years old and he's never touched it.

Good catch... I wonder if the mids are at 80hz or higher, it's kind of hard to read. I had Infinities and 80hz is a good highpass if you're putting any power to them. I could make them bottom at will with 75w and a 70hz highpass.
It would be interesting to take the sub up a little higher and re-evaluate.

boost should always be at zero
It would probably be better if u deleted that clarion unit all-together
keep what u have, just revamp everything. Put the sub in the right box, get a better front stage, etc etc.

Next time you go to the menlo meet let me know so I can hear your speakers. Thinking about upgrading my system soon as well.

Yeah I got it. His packing was god awful, but I inspected it and don't see any rips, cracks in the basket, etc. Guess we'll see when I fire it up. Pressing on it & it sounds quiet so that's a good sign. He literally put 1 wrap around the sub of bubble wrap (not covering top or bottom of sub..just sides) and then found a large box for it. Filled the box with the twisted, cardboard feeling paper they sometimes use and then just stuck it in the box. It could move around, roll, whatever..pretty obvious as you can see it punctured a hole in the side of the box. Dude is a freakin idiot.
He told me it cost him $56 to ship. I told him to go to UPS and have them pack it so it would be insured properly, just in case. He tries to pack it himself and did a horrible job.

On the bright side, that's a badass sub if it works.
