Looking for a DIY or some help

I purchased doms non pnp unit for my 04 tl with navi and i have been searching and even looked through the garage and all they show is how to install the pnp unit. if anyone knows any info on where to even start with the non pnp install please give me some help. thanks in advance

Last I saw, it was in the general Audio & Video forum in Off Topic. It will require you to splice into the navigation wires. Good luck.

does anyone know which is the plug that i got to splice doms unit from the back of the nav unit? also do all wire colors on the db9 connector from doms unit go to the same color on the connector from the back of the nav unit? tried searching for this but most pics on the diy for non pnp out there aren't working

Stop! Please don't cut anything back there if you're not 100% sure of what you're doing.

Here's a brand new Dom harness up for sale. Make the guy an offer. It's an "extra" cable, so he didn't pay anything for it. I'm sure you can work something out with the seller.

call them up and they have the harness for $50 + $10 shipping which is way worth the headache you will have to do with cutting and splicing wires
