Lightbulb Locate Stock Amp

I want to replace the stock amp with a rockford fosgate amp that i have. I wanted to know if anyone knows where the stock amp is located and if i can just unplug the stock amp and plug it into my RF amp. I also and going to disconnect the stock sub and run it to my own subs. Also how will the remote wire work and is there a remote wire on the stock amp.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks

It's located on the passenger side foot area, right side. Just pull back the plastic. The wires are not RCA so you will have to convert them.

I don't believe there is a remote turn on from the factory radio. you can probably get power from the dome light or something like that.

y not? if you buy the add-a-tap from pep boys or local shop, they work jsut fine. remote is just a small power signal to turn the amp on, its not like you are getting all the power from the fusebox.

i havent heard of the downside from anyone, maybe im missing something?

If you check the amp wiring diagram in this post there is a wire called AMPLIFIER ON that may be the remote turn on from the head unit.
