Left tail light keeps burning out

My left tail light on my 2001 acura TL keeps burning out - the replacement I put 2 weeks ago is burned out already. the brake light still works.

Is there something I should check?

Thanks

Interesting. I would make sure that the base or the mount for the light is fully secured and doesn't wobble or wiggle around if you try to move it. If the mount shakes or vibrates a lot while you're driving, that could significantly shorten the lifespan of an incandescent bulb.

You're on the wrong forums. This forum is for the 3G TL (2004+).... our taillights are LED's and not bulbs like in your 2001.

You think taillight bulbs are like headlight bulbs where you don't want to get your skin oils on the glass? I know this could cause decreased life on headlight bulbs???

Either way, I wouldn't want to degrade the life by touching it with our fingers.

Since I cannot move threads across forums, feel free to repost this in Second Generation TL (1999-2003).
