I would gladly pay $300 for this kind of ipod integration.... why oh why does Acura have to be stupid

You got that right..... Why was i so stupid to think that the music link would have been anywhere close to that one... .... i can only dream that there will eventually be a music link like that one.

That device looks cool but it needs a head unit that supports CD-TEXT to be able to display the title/artist/album info. Unfortunately we couldn't benefit from this with our factory system.

I think this CAN be done guys ... if I or anyone else can figure out how the xm unit uses each pin I may be able to do something or at least work on it. If anyone has a pinout that would be helpful ...

Finding pins is easy, but all cars are talking different protocol languages. Good luck making Honda understand Toyota.

I dont mean use this interface ... I meant get a microprocessor and program it to be the interface ... So if I can understand the interface between the HU and the XM unit then I will be golden ... all I have to do is trick the HU into thinking MY interface is the XM unit ... unless it is built in or something. :-/
