iSimple problems with iPhone 4

Hi, Im new to the forum. I have an 05 TL with Nav, I recently got a isimple ipod interface and it will not work with my iphone 4. I bought it used from a buddy, I researched it and found some info on some compatibility issues with is04. Just wandering if somebody else might have also experienced this problem and maybe a solution. Thanks

Im not sure what issue you are referring too, I just got mine and I bought it from a buddy so Im sure that mine is non chipped. What is the problem, when is it supposed to show text, on ipod mode or when playing something like Pandora??
