iSimple Cable Problem

I'm having sound problem with my iPhone cable. Recently the sound has been playing on the speakers of the right side of my car. Kind of shorting out...I have to jiggle the cable to get the sound throughout my car.

I have checked my CD Changer and Radio to see if it was my speakers and they are fine. So I know its my iSimple... However, Is it my cable or my iSimple hardware?? I am willing to order a replacement cable for $20. But I dont know if that will work or pay for another system.

I have an 05 Navi TL by the way.

Perhaps jiggle cable until working then secure cable to isimple device. Use contact cleaner at the cable connection. Do you have the same issue if using the 3.5 jack on aux? Or just the idevice cable?

It's the cable - I've noticed this happens if it is at a certain angle. Doesn't bother me that much yet.

I jiggle the cable, it used to work after doing that now it doesnt. It's just the cable.

Check the pins on the cable where it attaches to the isimple unit. I had the same problem and found that one of the pins at the end of the cable had broken off inside the isimple unit.

When I wiggled the unit around I could get it to work ocassionally because it would line up just right. The broken pin eventually went too far into the unit and it would only work on the right side speakers.
