Ipod connection plus removing head unit

I just got a 06 TL with nav. I found out after I bought it that it doesn't have the aux output to install a ipod kinda sucks I really care about my sound. Just wondering what is the best way to add it ppl have done it i've read but what is the best module to buy some isimple thing. Do I have to remove the head unit to install it and how? thanks for who ever helps out need to get my sound going before summer starts

There are several solutions (search the 3G Garage); here was mine: https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-audio-bluetooth-electronics-navigation-94/i-160-usa-spec-install-633080/

I have the isimple and I Plugged it into the xm unit in the trunk. No need to remove the radio. The proper cable will have to be used.

Anyone else? Chime in.

Btw: this question should be posted in the audio/electronics section.
