How did you run your wiring?

I am new to this forum and the proud new owner of a 3rd gen Acura TL. Just to let you in on what I am doing, MY wife's car was totaled (03 Accord loaded) and ripped everything out (complete aftermarket stereo). I now ripped everything out of my company truck that I installed to put into the Acura as well (sub&amp only for space issues). I am using her huge amp and aftermarket speakers (was used to run her speakers and sub originally) in the Acura and have a lot of wiring to run along with the second sub and amp from my work truck. I was just curious as to the quickest and easiest routing possible. If anyone could help I would appreciate it extremely.

Thanks to the AZ Community in advance!!
P.S. I love this Forum!!!!!!!!:thumbs up:

Wow, I cannot believe nobody has helped out here or given any advice. Maybe I started a new thread that was completely unnecessary? Maybe I should have posted something that has been covered 2 million times without researching first to get a response. Is that how things work here? Either way, I apologize for even posting anything this dumb and asking for someones help or opinion.

Easiest routing...

I would pull power from the battery, there's a factory rubber grommet in the firewall already to go though. Run power and the trigger wire from the fuse box down the driver's side of the car. Use the sheetmetal in the trunk to tie a ground into. Or you can always run a ground wire from the battery too.

Use the factory sub wiring at the sub into a LOC and into your amp. Make sure the factory sub is unplugged and it's a good idea to remove it completely.

Everything you stated was my original plan from the start. I just wanted to make sure that if there was nothing any other members ahve found to be more beneficial and possibly even easier. I appreciate the input you have provided to help confirm my original wiring plan before I finalized everything. Thanks a million!

Please don't take this the wrong way but you have already answered your own question. There is no way that a simple reply to a very general question will help you they way an afternoon searching through the site can. After you have searched and have some specific questions you will get much better answers to your questions.

When you are ready, there are many A'ziners in SoCal who can help.
