Hooking the sound up?
Hooking the sound up?
Hey what's up guys?
Spring break is right around the corner and I'm looking to hook the sound in my car up a bit.
Currently everything is stock except for a jackhammer 12" in the back.
Any suggestions about how to go about good quality sound that can truly hit all around would be awesome and how to get the best prices.
Thank for any input!

6 1/2" Components in the doors and rear deck (Polk, Infinity, JL, etc)
Audio processor (RF3Sixty.2, JL Cleansweep, Audiocontrol L7, etc)
150x4 amp (JL, Alpine, etc)
Good quality RCA jacks.

How good of quality do you want? Pricing?
The best way to go with price in mind is:
Take stock signal after factory amp -> LOC -> aftermarket amps -> aftermarket speakers. It's simple, works well and you retain all the features of your car (HFL, navi, etc)

There has already been some good advice given regarding what type of components and items to buy. I personally just got done shopping for some stereo upgrades today, myself.
The best way to get good prices is to stay away from the big name stores. Go to the warehouses, or privately owned places. Also, pay cash! They will give you a discount because they don't have to pay credit card processing fees. This is what I did, and even though I did a bit of driving, each place I went to gave me a better price on products than was even offered on their respective websites (I didn't pay tax on anything, either). If you go to them directly, you'll also save on shipping.
Hope this helps!
