Hi,
I was having the battery drain problem in my car and followed the steps to disconnect the HFL but am unsure if it actually disconnected. I have an 07 TL Type s. I unplugged the cable from the black "box" but there is a wire that I can not disconnect. When I go into the display menu and select Hands Free Link it says booting but I do not get a response when I hit the button on the steering wheel. So I just cant tell if it is disconnected.

 

First off - there a plethora of HFL related topics/threads as this has been a problem, no worries on posting the question, but don't hesitate to search first
