I know that there are threads regarding installing aux cables but I can't find any that are close to mine. I have a 06 TL Canadian non-nav. I DO NOT have XM just the stupid DVD/CD button. The question that I am trying to ask is, does anyone make a kit that I can tie into the factory radio? I have searched the internet high and low and side to side but to no avail. Can anyone help me out? I really hope I can get it done. I am tired of the crappy tape deck aux. It just sounds terrible.

 

Sure you can. I had the same DVD/CD button and that's what I used to switch on my AUX/IPOD connection. I forget what it was since it's been ages but it was just a unit like any other that's plugged into the back of a stereo. I have the same unit in my FX35 which also doesn't have the NAVI and I can still listen to music by pressing a similar button. The only thing it won't have is the Information display of track number or song names but it's never bothered me before.
