Help with Sound, Sound, Sound

I’ve got my Sub dialed in, two 10" kickers Powered by 1200watts... Perfect!
I haven’t touched the stock speakers yet... But want to really bad, as I can listen to my system on Vol:32... At which point any higher on some songs just doesn’t sound good, not crisp... and honestly thank God I have a bass controller or id be washed in bass vs sound...

So my first question is:
What size speakers should I be looking at for the 08 TLS

and second:
I like loud, clear, crisp... I’d like to be able to turn my Volume to 20 and have it be pretty damn loud already... Go another 10 so it is at Vol:30 we are now bumping it...

Any suggestions, thoughts / help.

Also I am not really looking to spend 4k on a 4 or 5 channel + speakers... I know there are decent speakers out there and an amp that will give me what I am looking for...

I just do not know EXACTLY what brand, type, etc...

Thanks in advanced gents!

Honestly, it is whatever but I would rather take 3k am spend it on other things you know? But I guess cheapest is always better, if possible. Do not want to lose quality...

1,200 - low

2,000 - high

Id like to hear what is suggested too... I when I had my 2001 Honda Accord I put some $168 6.9 Pioneers in the rear deck and my god... I had a concert hall... Powered by a 4channel 404 crossfire amp... So something like those would be great!

Loud is cheap. Clear is more expensive. Loud and clear is very expensive. No matter which one is the priority, throw as much power at it as you can afford. It will not only be louder but cleaner with more power. Though I have to say, if you have $2,000 to blow on the fronts, check out the Dynaudio 342 or 362 set. They will get very loud, will take a ton of power and sound very good while doing so.

For 2 grand...you can get a very nice setup! I say some Dynaudio, Morel, Focal, etc 3-ways with tweets and midrange in custom a-pillar and your choice of size in door (no less than 6.5"). Save enough to buy a processor also.

haha horns... that would be extreme... hmm I will take a look at the suggested set ups.

Not wanting to add any more weight really so 0 fiberglass =D
2k was a max number IF... Honestly I wouldn’t even spend that in this case... it is just tunes... home audio however well... ha that is already in the bag =D

anyways, Just makes me sad when a sick song filters thru the playlist and I go to turn it up some more and I was already on volume 34... TL stock only goes to 40... and between 34 - 40 it just sounds bad... be nice if I was on 20 and go up to 30 =D haha

Add an amp to the stock speakers, give it some time and see how you like it. Add better speakers later if you don't like them. The stock speakers sound surprisingly well with an amp. If you're going to really crank on them you need to high pass them at 100-120hz to avoid hurting them but they will take a lot of abuse for giving them triple thier rated power.

If you get the stereo bug, if there's nothing else you do, spend most of your money on the front stage. I like the Dyns, they make great home speakers and are so natural and real.

^ I almost ended up with a pair of Dyn Home audio towers. Ended up with Energy RC-70's though...sexy! I wish I could get my home audio sound in my car haha.

OP- Take a look at 3-ways and have a shop make you a-pillars to house a midrange and tweeter & just put the midbass in the door like normal. Morel, Dyn's, Focal, Hybrid Audio, Hertz, etc all have 3-ways that are respectable.
