Getting Phone Calls When Actual Caller Isn't Calling

Recently ive had many instances where it pops up on the HFL saying that someone called me and i answer and it only gives me one ring and then it hangs up, so i call back the person and they say they didn't call so i did a little figuring out and i still get understand what the problem is.....does anyone else have this problem where u get a phone call but that actual person never called you...i have the V710 with verizon service and its not a bad phone its just annoying when stuff like that happens it seems like the HFL system is so bear and its seems so.....crappy in a sense.....but i think what it might have to do is.....i checked my recent recieved calls....and i think it might be a glitch in the coding of the phone....as to where when you get a text message or something spuratic happens....it will say that your most recent recieved call will come up

If nobody answers - I would go to your verizon store and tell them that it happens on your PHONE and not teh HFL (If you say HFL they will say its the HFL).... they will either update the software or replace the phone.... goodluck

I've noticed this, too. But I've found that if I do NOT answer the call immediately, but wait about 5-8 seconds and then hit the "talk" button on the steering wheel, the call is connected with no problem. It seems to me someone also earlier mentioned having a problem when the phone was sit on either "vibrate" or "vibrate and ring" (don't remember which). Could the solution to this be part of the eventually upcoming firmware update?

I've noticed on at least 2 or 3 occasions where I get a text message in the car and the car thinks someone is calling. I answer, no one is there, and then check the phone and see the text message.

the whole HFL thing is too new...they could do so much more with this....like involve the navigation with it.....and have text messages pop up on the navigation screen...etc....atleast show the name of the caller...

I've gotten a ring for "incoming call" when my phone was signalling that I had a voicemail message. Happened several times and I've learned to ignore it.

Yup. I experience the same. I get a text message, and it shows up as an incoming call from the last call in my call list. I have the v710 too. It is definitely a glitch.

anyone had this happen since applying the superdave 1.02 firmware on the v710? Had it happen a couple times before that but can't say it's happened since (or that I remember getting a txt msg/vmail while in the car).
