that unit can turn on anything in the car if you wanted, theres plenty of outputs. but yes it can. if your doing it yourself its the red and white coming out the brain, or just ask the installer to make the connection. by the way what bypass module will you be using?

you dont need that, thats if you dont already have factory trunk pop. you use that to connect if a car does not have one, it connects to the actual linkage that releases the trunk. save your money. the most youll need for the trunk pop is a 10 dollar relay.

yes. your gonna need a bypass module also when you have it installed.

there are a couple that you can use. 556u is the most universal, but youll lose a key. the key is put inside the module and when the r/s goes to crank the car, it reads the info in the key and your car allows it to start.

or... the newer xko5 wich learns your keys and you dont lose one, but its a little more pricey

your really not saving that much money, unless your installing it or a buddy, your looking roughly 200 for install + parts like the module and ive seen people get raped because they buy it from other places. best buy carries the same unit with install for right at 500. 52 or 79 for the bypass module. 30 for installing the module.

you dont need any extra parts to have your trunk pop with 5900SST (owner of one)

Are you sure? Best Buy is charging me $35 for the trunk release module and he's charging me for another module for the windows and sunroof. Also, does this affect the automatic light shutoff feature that is on the factory settings? I like how my car unlocks when i throw it into park and when it locks after 10MPH.
