Fuse 32 and Radio and Navi Codes
If I pull fuse #32 as it controls the radio, navi and others to add-a-circuit from littlefuse, will I have to re-enter navi, radio codes? Isn't pulling the fuse the same thing as disconnecting the battery?
Thanks

no... and no...
Fuse #32 is just a switch power source. it's like the remote wire on an amp... it let's the system know to start playing and/or displaying, not the main power source for the radio and the navi drive. So you can pull fuse #32 and not need to re-enter any type of codes. Believe me 'cause I've pulled that fuse plenty of times.
I personally don't like the add-a-circuit route. It tends to make the connector in the fuse box bigger and when you ever want to remove it and just leave the regular fuse in there it tends to be loose... and runs the possibility of the radio/climate control/shifter locking mechanism go crazy when you hit pothole and such.
I would just tap the power from the 12V accessory (which is fused to 20 AMP) plug in the center arm rest compartment. It only take an additional 10 minutes and it's a much cleaner look. I believe it's the white wire of the connector.
