when i first bought my tl years ago i forgot my code also. i called the dealer and they were able to look up the code in some computer by my vin number. whoever i spoke to said he wasnt supposed to do that but i stressed the fact that i just bought the car from them. try calling the dealer.

I registered at acura.com using my vin. When i log in, all my codes are displayed. Not sure if the info is available for older TL as mine is a 2008. Give it a try.

Call your stealership with your VIN #. You'll be good to go!

Do what I did. Make your codes a phone book entry in your cell phone.

Turn ignition to accessory, turn your radio completely off. Hold the preset buttons 1 and 6 simultaneously. While holding these turn the radio back on. Your 10 digit Serial Number will show on the display. Then call any Acura dealer and tell them you had to put a new battery on your car and can't find your codes then give them the serial number and they'll give you the 5 digit unlock code. The only reason I say to tell them you had to change the battery is because I had trouble with a dealer thinking my head unit was a stolen one lol

Does this work on Hondas? I just changed the battery on my wife's 04 Civic and no more radio for her, I gotta get it re-activated for her.
