Factory Subwoofer Problem

I just purchased an 04 TL and there is no sound coming from the subwoofer. Checked out fuses and wire connections and everything looks normal.
Purchased from a dealership so I have no idea what the last owner may have done to it.
I'm not sure what to do.... Any suggestions?

Check to make sure it wasn't disconnected from the amp in the passenger kick panel. Right in front of the door (down by your feet) there is a panel shaped kinda like an "L"...kinda....and you can remove that and the amp will be underneath. If you have any exposed wires...that's probably your culprit

I have to say this, you have the sub turned on, right?

Wiring back at the sub is connected?

Factory Subwoofer Removal - Help....

Does anyone know how to remove the factory subwoofer in an 04 TL? I'm going to replace it because I have no sound (or anything) coming from it. We just can't figure out how to get it out.....

Is it turned on at the factory controls on the Navi screen where it says "subwoofer"?

I would of done it the lazy way.

Use an Ohm Meter at the amplifier (YL/BLK and LG/RED) and/or use a 9V with jumper wires and tap them on the two wires.

It ended up being the stock amp. I replaced it and now the sub works but it doesn't sound very good....
Ohwell! Thanks for all the advice!
