I plan my purchases for the big ticket items, but I am more of a compulsive buyer when it comes to things like music. I did buy some DVD-A from the local BestBuy, but their selection has dwindled to one rack and now combined to the same rack as the SACD. I also saw some DVD-A at the local Borders bookstore, but they were mixed in with their regular CD selections. I would like to see a store where there is a larger selection of DVD-A in its own area, but I think most stores see this as a losing proposition.

So, the question is "Where do you purchase your DVD-A?" and I don't mean the internet. I do realize that the selection on the net is better and cheaper, but that doesn't satisfy my instant gratification desires. Any help out there? Thanks in advance.

 

Best Buy, Circuit City, Media Play, Sam Goody,......hit and miss. Some stores do a good job with these, others are horrible. It's really a crap shoot.

The very BEST thing you can do if you find one of these with a crappy section is to seek out the department head and ask them WTF is the problem????
