DVD-A storage

I've been searching for a storage container for my growing collection of DVD-A disc's. Most I've seen lately are sized for CD's, and I'm having trouble locating something to keep my collection safe. Has anyone found something nice yet? I find that you can only store 5-6 inside the arm rest storage area, so having something larger would be nice.

I keep my CD/DVD-A in a case logic sleeve that holds two discs vertically and is about an inch thick. This case fits perfectly in the map compartment in the door when you remove the silly sunglass holder. It doesn't rattle either.

I bought this Case Logic 20 Disc CD Visor...

http://www.circuitcity.com/detail.js...toid=-8901&m=0

It works great and keeps the CD's out of plain site...just in case...

Also, I don't have to fumble with a binder or plastic case while driving. I just flip down the visor, do a quick scan and grab the CD/DVD-A that I want.

Thanks for the reply guys, but what I'm looking for is a case that will keep the DVD-A's with the case. I like to keep the case handy because otherwise I'll loose it and I also like having the song information etc. handy. I don't have to have a "case logic" container, or anything specifically designed for audio disc's, just something nice to hold everything. I've been looking for a small case made out of that balistic nylon material but so far haven't found anything that fits properly and looks nice. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I keep the DVD-A Jewel cases at home in a tower that IKEA sells. the shelves are moveable and keep my cases neatly organized.

I'm looking for a leather CD case that will fit in the center console that does not have plastic sleeves that can melt and damage the disks. Does such a thing exist? Claud, does the Acura one have plastic sleeves?

If you want to store lots of discs, the paper computer cd sleeves work well and they fit just in front of the gear shift, upper shelf. No rattles, can't be seen to be stolen, and at lest 30 will fit.

I'd like to get a case that will also hold the jewlbox....it doesn't have to be a dedicated CD case, just something classy like a nice briefcase, or backpack. Claud...does the Acura case hold the jewlbox also?

I opted for the 36 disc visor storage. Used to keep a cd case in my old car and sometimes found it got moved around by "passangers" so when I wanted it it was out of reach.

Hate to (possibly) show my ignorance, but won't keeping cd/dvd's on the sunvisor leave them open to melting?

I just ordered this one from Creative Leather. It has canvas sleeves so melting plastic should not be an issue. I'll let you know what I think when I get it.

Greg, since I can't seem to find a classy leather case that will also hold the jewlbox, the case you ordered seems pretty nice. Please let me know how you like it when the order arrives.

The Acura leather CD/DVD-A case has vinyl sleeves to store CD/DVD-As. It does NOT hold jewelcases. The leather covering is black. It will fit in the console storage bin and in the door bins.

Where can you find the "Acura" case. I tried looking on this forum's sale section...and they don't seem to have it shown. Does the Acura dealer sell it? BTW...I've been getting quite a collection of AIX recordings..excellent sound...and I really need something to store my DVD's. Thanks for the info.

I got the case and am very happy with it. The inside is a decent material (not plastic) but thinner than I expected. I do feel safe keeping my DVDs in it though. They threw in a free leather wallet that is also very nice. How did they know my old one was falling apart?!

greg... looks nice! I just bought a Coach leather CD wallet just like that, though it dosnt hold as much as my case logic, now that i have multiple groups on my dvd's, i have cut my burned collection by about half. It does look nice to have a classy cd wallet in a classy car.

Looking at the coach case, it looks like the pockets are plastic.

Is that the case?
