Wink DVD-A Collection in 5.1 - YOUR CHOICE!!

Tired of looking at the very slim DVD-A section in your local Best Buy or where ever, then just do what I did and make your own in TRUE 5.1 and DTS (if it has it)

How? Simple.

You'll need: DVD Audio Extractor, DVD Audio Solo (have to purchase that one), a PC with a DVD Writer/Reader, blank DVD-R's and most importantly, any music DVD of your choice--concert series ones are the best!

1- use the Extractor to pull off the tracks choosing 5.1 and/or DTS (again, be sure to look on the back to see if it is 5.1 and/or DTS. )

2- load those tracks into the Solo

3 - 6 channels and 24bit will automatically be selected for you, so just create your DVD -Audio disk.

You may have to cut a couple tracks if the DVD Concert is a bit long. I tried
DVD-R DL, but it won't read it in the TL S.

New collection so far: Live 8 (4 DVD's), Bon Jovi, U2 x2, Bruce Springsteen, and counting

You mean you can create the dvd-audio 5.1 disks from a regular cd? I understand what the dvd audio solo does and the dvd burner, curious about the source.

Rimz - have you heard a good dvd-audio? The difference is amazing.

Well, if you realllllllllly like your music and happened to have purchased a real sub like me then it's worth it.

Considering the Solo is like buy a DVD-A, and then purchasing DVD Artists that your really want to hear rather than the limited (ie: Diana Krawll lol). In fact, 3 DVD's
that I just bought were all $19.99
