don't know what's happening
I just got my navi install but i have been having some problems ever since... My car over hit, so i had to take it to acura to get the car fixed, they had to make a separete connector in order to distribute the energy properly... everything was going well until 2 days ago, i tried to start the car but it didn't i believe it was because of battery... I have amp, led lights, fog lights, navi, dice i-honda so i think those things might be taking a lot of energy out of the car that's why i decided t get a separte battery for the amp... I wonder if someone is having the same problem, if so how did u get it fixed???
Btw, acura's answer is "the car wasn't meant to have a navi" so that's sorta disappointment because i don't really know if i made the right desicion on bying the navi...

I just got my navi installed but i have been having some problems ever since. My car over heated, so i had to take it to acura to get it fixed. They had to make a seperate connector in order to distribute the energy properly. After that everything was going well. Then 2 days ago, I tried to start the car but it wouldnt start...the battery was dead. Maybe I have too many things running off the battery? I have an amp, LED lights, fog lights, navi, and a dice i-honda (for my iPhone). I think these things may be draining my battery. Today I bought a smaller battery only for my amp...Im hoping this works to help take some of the load off the main battery. Has anyone else had this same or similar problem? If so how did u get it fixed??? Any suggestions? Acura has been no help.

I bought the factory navi and to be honest I love it beause it has made a huge difference in my car... I'm just a little afraid knowing that if this same problem keeps happening I might have to get rid of the navi
that's why I made this threat hoping that someone out there would be able to help me...

If the Navi is installed right, it should not cause any problems. These cars came factory with navi and if all the dealer did was install the factory navi and harness, they messed something up. The dealer is trying to cover their asses.
To cover your own, you might want to disconnect the power to all of the aftermarket stuff besides the navi and see if the battery goes dead again.
What do you mean about the harness?
If you're on the factory battery, you're on borrowed time.
