connecting phone to bluetooth in 07' TL type-s

hey all, first post here on the forum. looks like a good community of people.

i just purchased an 07' TL type-s and i'm trying to connect my iphone to the bluetooth. not sure what i'm doing wrong but i'm having a hell of a time trying to pair up the 2 n get this hands free thing underway. i've watched a few videos n read the manual about HFC but still can't seem to get the process started. at this point, i feel like an idiot n don't know what else to do so i'm asking you all for some help.

anybody know a link or have steps to take to do this? thanks in advance n i look forward to becoming a part of this forum.

I don't remember the voice command off my head, but if you look in the owners manual it has a list of the commands. It's something along the lines of "Phone setup" "pair" I had to do it a few weeks ago with my iPhone.

It's definately in the manual, just make sure you're using the voice buttons for the handsfree link and not the button for the nav system.

Stupid question -- but are you pressing the correct button?

One controls voice commands for nav, radio, climate, etc...
The other is exclusively for the hands free system.

If you can't get the process started by saying phone setup...try saying help and listen to the prompts.
