Does anyone know if there is text information on the DVDA's that should be displaying (on the Nav screen) during playback?? It seems to me that these new DVDA's must have album and track name info that should be displaying !!??

what new DVD-A's are you referring too? ...i don't have Nav, but i know that DVD-A discs don't have embedded text on them like CD's do with CD-TEXT...

 

Just DVDA's in general... Queen-The Game, Porcupine Tree-In Absentia, Frank Zappa-Haloween, etc... etc... My new ('07) TL with NAV should display some title and/or track information, no?? You say that DVDA's don't have this? I'm very surprised(read disappointed!) if this is true.

 

I've never seen a DVD-A disc with CD-TEXT. Actually there are very few commercial CDs with CD-TEXT. It's a great idea, but for some reason it really didn't catch on.
