Speakers arent good enough

hi, i just realized that the stock speakers in the car arent really that great sounding... not that loud and so on, and i was planning on upgrading to new speakers but arent sure whats really good out there. any suggestions? so far i have:

Alpine V12 sub and 2, 12" fosgate subs

so i am just wondeing if upgrading speakers will make a big difference with the stock deck and if so, what kinds are recommended.

It depends on a few things...what type of music do you listen to mainly? What is your budget? Do you plan on adding another amp at the same time?

You can get very good sound with the OEM HU if you use the right equipment, and it is installed correctly.

If you're looking to go on the high-end, you should be looking at brands like Rainbow, Morel, Dynaudio, CDT, DLS, etc. You'll also want to drive them with high quality amps...Zapco, Arc, DLS, etc.

If you want to just upgrade speakers and use the stock amp, then stick with something like Infinity. You'll get a little bit better sound, but it won't be a huge difference.

Why did you make two threads about this?

https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/abduction-c-section-161713/

There are a ton of threads in this section with info on different peoples setup in speakers. Lots of the members have changed speakers and most of them post the details; just gotta search for them...

I'm not sure what model your are driving but the 3G TL has 2 ohm speakers and any replacements you buy will be 4 ohm. If you replace the speakers then you must add a better amp to drive them. Most people use a LOC between the stock amp and new amp for the input signals.
