I installed DICE like a year ago, and it worked fine until now..
All of a sudden, only speaker works with IPOD and i couldnt control my ipod from my headunits.. and none of the title nor album doesnt show on my screen. it only shows "DICE" on my screen.

I cant even control my ipod either if it is connected to my car...

Is there anyone having same problem? or does anyone know how to fix this?

 

You probably need to do a hard restart of the Dice unit... remove the main harness from the Dice unit for about 2 minutes and then reconnect...

If this doesn't work... then...

The solder points have gotten weak on the circuit board... find someone that's good at soldering and resolder all the points on the DICE unit...

Then you should be good to go...

 

What kind of iPod are you using? The only reason I ask is because my iPod touch seems to work better that my 5th gen video with the Dice unit. But yeah, it sounds like solder points.

Updated IPOD with new firmware.. but it wont work..
i guess it can be solder problem..

do you think resetting the whole battery will fix this? I have a good feeling that it may fix this problem.

man..its gonna be alot of work takin apart for this problem..

 

Disconnected battery for 20+ min, reset the whole thing.

worked like a charm! DICE is back to normal.
