Question Diagnostics Menu

I just went through the Diagnostics menu and there were a ton of options. Though i managed to calibrate the screen and what not, i am not sure about the rest of the options.

Does anyone have a breakdown of what those options mean and what values need to be set ?

I understand that its not for us. But i was just curious as to what they meant. Especially "Tire Adjustment".

There are two options there called "F-CAN" and"B-CAN". One of them is showing "Active error". I was wondering if anyone knew what that meant.

Press 'Menu' + 'Guide' + 'Cancel' at the same time and hold it for a couple seconds and you will get a Diagnostics Menu.

Once you are there, you will see "Functional Setup". And i believe adjusting your screen is there. Good thing is i was able to adjust the sensitivity of the mic in the car too.

I am sorry its not "Functional Setup". You will see something like "Navi Screen". There you can adjust your raster, color balance etc. Just like adjusting a TV. Most of the default setup is correct. You hardly need to adjust anything. There is also a screen to calibrate your touch sensitive screen.

I guess that "Tire adjustment" is for calibration of speed with different tires. It is done automatically by comparing data from GPS and sped sensor.
Diagnostic will dispay an error (don't remember where exactly) if your key is in ACC rather than in ON position.
I also was exited about possibility to tinker with car settings, but there is nothing you can change to the better in diagnostic menu.

The only thing you can adjust is the screen, the rest are probably not much help.

BTW, did you check the status of "F-CAN" and "B-CAN" ?

I think those are communication buses in the cars electronics. But i am curious as to what others cars show.
