spending a low amount might end up costing you in the end, ie having to get another tint job. so that tint may end up costing you $3-400 instead of a one time shot of ~200. check to see if there is a warranty on the tints so if something does happen to them they replace for free. also make sure they do the rear quarter panel correctly.

Ceramic tint is by far the best way to go in terms of window tint...It is slightly more expensive as the manufacturing is a little more in depth...however...you will have a greater heat rejection factor...and YES...some metallic tint does slightly interfere with some electronic signals...so in my book ceramic is the only thing to use...as a matter of fact...all of my vehicles have ceramic tint...invest the extra money...

remember that you must have the felt...or "moleskin" installed on all of the interior door rubbers or you'll be starin out some scratched ass window tint!

Ceramic also has a warranty against color fade over the years, metalliac doesn't. The "lifetime" warranty on the metallic only covers the instal, not the color.

Expect to pay anywhere from $300-$500 for the ceramic tint. Some good brands are Formula One, and Huber Optik.

I found a place with a good reputation for 220.00, highly recommended on nasioc.

I didn't know about the fading, i think i'm going to go for ceramic, based on what you guys have said as well as other forums.

Are you sure about this? I believe it's the material and labor not just labor.
