What is the difference ?

My radio blew up ( I think ). It has no power. I understand that it could be a fuse, but I don't have a good feeling about this. With that in mind, I looked on Ebay and found a couple of places that have them however, they indicate to look for a number on the cassette door.

My number is 1TB0.

The people on Ebay have 1TB1, 1TB2, 1TB3.

Does anybody know what this number means, and if the units are interchageable ?.

Thanks.

Oh yeah, my car is an '04.

Navi/non-navi, MP3/non-MP3, XM/non-XM, I bet rear entertainment is also involved somehow. I m sure it is OK to get one with MP3 cause it is the guts of the player itself(dont know for sure) not like there is missing button or anything. It would suck to have XM and not to have a button for it.

Thanks.

Follow up.......where is the fuse for the radio power ?.

Here is what happened........CD player stopped playing (but could load and eject).

I was trying different CDs to see if any others would play. After several attempts, I pushed EJECT, and I hear a very loud pop thru the speakers, and the radio lost all power.

Figured I'd try the fuse route first, then look into replacement

Look in the fuse box under the dash near the dead pedal, at fuse #5 (Radio). It's a 20Amp fuse.
