Hey King, what kind of connectors are those white one's? Where could I get something like that? It doesn't even have to be the same type, I would just like to have some kind of connectors where I can just plug in/unplug the pwr/grnd/rem wires.. I've never really seen any quick disconnect connectors at radioshack, unless I'm blind.

Radioshack. I think it's part #274-154. I found them where they have the standard molex connectors. The other connector is part #274-224

Guess I'll have to find a way or simply wait for the new version of DigitalFX. I finally fixed my TV on my bezel GUYS....here's my worklog

I'll find some time during the next 2 weeks to fix the stock LCD in the car

This is where the green/white goes on my motherboard. Notice the ribbon cable is pulled off. This ribbon is put back on when I use the regular desktop power supply and use the front button to turn the computer on.

The blue wires are banded and sealed. The Black wires (Ground) are banded together and soldered onto one main cable. The Yellow wires (Positive) are banded and solder together soldered into one cable. These two go to my fused distro block, same as the amps. The red (Remote on) and orange (12v) are together but wired in different directions in the car. The red is sent to the same remote turn on as the amps. The orange is wired to the LCD. I also have the remote wire switched in my car center arm rest compartment. I use this switch to turn the computer and amps off/on if I'm moving the car around briefly (driveway into garage type moving). Also as a valet switch so they don't mess with my stuff.

Does all this help?
THANKS KING. YEAH THAT'S HELP ALOT. THAT'S WHAT IM GOING TO DO, EXCAPT IM NOT USING THE ORANGE WIRE FOR LCD. BUT ONE MORE DUMB QUESTION. YOU SAID YOU RUN THE YELLOW AND BLACK TO YOUR FUSE DISTRO BLOCK. IS THAT THE FUSE LINE FROM YOUR BATTERY? WHAT IM THINKING IS THAT. RUN A 30A FUSE LINE FROM BATTERY AND CONNECT IT TO THE YELLOW WIRE(12V). AND GROUND THE BLACK WIRE TO ANYWHER IN THE CAR. IS THAT RIGHT TOO?

All my negative wires (amps and PC) go to a seperate block that then goes to a ground point on the car. The yellow goes to fused power block (along with my amp wires). I also have a fuse near the battery up front under the hood. Running a decicated fused line from the battery to the pc would be fine too. Since I have 3 amps and a PC it's easier for me to use a distro block in the trunk for all my junk. My Optima Yellow top battery really gets a work out with all that junk in the trunk.

I filled the gap with a body filler putty, almost feels like playdoh. I'll try to get the name and get back to you. Getting the touchscreen flush and appearing stock was the toughest part of the install for me. Honestly, I'm still not 100% satisfied and may end up taking it to a professional. West Coast Customs is down the street from me. I've met Ryan a couple of times. His son goes to the same private school my kids go to and we run into each other sometimes. I may give him a call but I'll know he'll charge me an arm and a leg.

KING: Did you use any type of putty to fix the LCD on the bezel?? I did mine this weekend and I still get some space on both side. I'll bring it to my PRO AUDIO friend to see if we can conserve that OEM LOOK!

The metal housing from the LCD holds the touchscreen securely in place. To fill the gaps I used this:

http://www.loctiteproducts.com/repai...=8&Product=160

Do some research there maybe other putties you can use

Here's what I did:

I covered the front part of the touchscreen with foil. I pressed the foil firmly around the edges of the screen to get a good mold. I added putty to the inside of the bezel. I then pushed the foil covered touchscreen against the bezel while the putty was still soft. This closed the gaps around the inside of the bezel. I very gently took the screen off the foil . This left me with the foil on the inside of the bezel. I then trimmed with a razor blade while it was hardening and sanded/filed smooth the edges of the bezel opening. Once I felt the opening was good I covered the entire bezel with masking tape making sure was the opening was only exposed. I took some flat black sray paint and painted the inside of bezel wher I had applied the putty. Since I have a big touchscreen (8") The gaps were pretty big for me and the top and bottom of the bezel.

Working on the bezel is not for the faint of heart. Be ready to buy another if you mess this up. This will be the hardest thing I had to do on my install and it took me some time figure it out and get it right.

I use Iguidance so I'm not sure how MS Street works on RR. I think you need to point RR to MS Street. My gps receiver is on port 4 and RR reads it on port 0. Seems to work OK

!!REMOVE ALL!!! And try the RR installer, there's no way it should hand or freeze.

Don't forget to read the readme for DigitalFX, you need to add some line to the rr.ini before everything.

Is this happening with the skin and without the skin? If it's happening without the skin then it's another problem. Bois settings ok?

The opus has extra power lines so other devices can be run off it like my touchscreen.

Currently I have it setup for only 2 channel since I'm going through the XM input on the HU. My soundcard outputs in optical or digital so I could watch movies in true dolby digital surround from my DVD player. The only draw back is finding a car amp or processor that can handle that input signal. I would have to fabricate a switch to going between the 2 channel/XM/HU configuration and a direct input from the PC to the amps. Alot of work. I really don't do serious movie watching in my car anyway. That's what my Home Theatre is for.

king you remember what collor of xm radio wire you tapped it. i couldn't get mine to ballance. only once side work.
