Bluetooth That Works!!!

Anyone have a Bluetooth setup that works WITHOUT ANY problems in the Orange County, CA region or surrounding?

What provider, and wich phone do you use? I am ready to buy a a new phone and sign up with a new service. Preferably I would like to have a pda/phone if possible.

Let me know, thanks!

Sony Ericsson T616 or T637, Cingular/T-Mobile work awesome.

T637 and HFL

Mobilezen, I assume that you mean that the T637 is great but has anybody actually paired the T637 with the TL??? The Acura site lists its brother, the T630 but not the T637.

My Siemens S56 on Cingular works fine. The only thing I noticed is a slight delay on incoming calls. I have to say hello twice before the people hear me.

I have some friends out in the west coast that have paired the T637 with the TL and the Sony Ericsson bluetooth car kit. They're not message board junkies though.

T637 and TL

Mobilezn, do you know if the bluetooth car kit was required to pair to the TL or did they pair it directly? I want to purchase a T637 but don't want to assume that it works with the TL just because the T630 is supposed to or that its little brother the 616 does.

It paired directly to the 2k4 TL. The T630 & K700 pair just fine as well.

Watch the MID - it will switch from "Incoming Call" to "In Use" (or whatever) once the voice connection is established. Wait for the MID to change before you start speaking.

I have the 637 and have paired it to my 04 TL. It works great, but has the same minor quirk as the 616. Approx. 50% of the time when you get into the car, the radio screen is stuck on "Phone" and you have to press the talk and then the cancel button and all is back to normal.

mobilezen,

You have the K700 already? You have earned your position as the top gadget guy!

So it pairs with the TL just like the T616 no problem? I was planning to buy that phone this week.

Where did you get it and how do you like the phone? The prices are so high right now, I'm trying to find a reasonable one as we speak.

Thanks!

I don't have the K700 just yet. Some of my friends have it and say its an incredible phone. Since I don't have my TL yet, I'm just picking up a P900 in a week since I'm getting a sweet deal on it.

Nokia 6820 with ATT. Works great, although leaving the bluetooth connection on reduces the standby time between battery charges.
