Best buy installing my system
I worked at Best Buy a few years ago when I was a freshman in college. I wouldn't say that EVERY Best Buy will ruin your car or have shitty installers because the guy I worked with was very good at it and was gentle on cars...didn't just throw shit around in them and hack em up. If you can and the price isn't too much higher, I'd take it to a dedicated audio shop for the best bet. I'm guessing you can't install b/c you wouldn't be asking if you could haha...so just call around and see what they'd charge.

I second that, it's probably worth a few extra bucks to get professional treatment, just do some research about who will install, and their experience, and most important.. attitude. If you feel they don't care they probably dont care. especially if a sales guy won't let you meet some installers or go over concerns with the installers.
"custom" shop doesn't always=better quality install. I say where ever you go you can have a bad experience, Just talk to the installer and get a feel for him/her where ever you go. Find out there qualification, experience, insurance and warranty policies. Just because they can build boxed and sell high end products as a "custom" shop doesnt warrant better install.
