AudioControl LC2i or Overdrive Plus line drive

In running stock HU and looking into buying one of these units to get a stronger signal to my JL Audio 500/1v2. Which one would benefit more/ better?
Thanks

BukvaMan, what does this do? take pre amp signal to the RF-BLD, then to the aftermarket amp, then aftermarket amp to components?

My OEM HU puts out plenty for my JL amp? gains are pretty low on amp.

If all you are doing is installing the 500/1 you don't need a line out converter or a line driver. Just unplug the wires from the stock sub, splice on some RCA's and plug them into the 500/1. Set the input voltage level to "High" and call it a day.

i have a system everything has been change except for my HU, at high volume my bass in low and its seeing 1 volt if that ,would like a stronger signal. I did take the signal before amp so the input voltage is its low to the sub amp,my gains are low and set properly. RF-BLD im also looking at. thanks

bought and installed the RF BLD line driver, what a difference my subwoofer woke up. i have it hooked up with speaker wire to rca into the line driver, unbalanced signal to my 500/1v2 and. had to switch my amp from low to high volts. is this right or i hook up wrong?

Have no room to place the line drive up front is it a good idea to place it in the trunk next to my amp?

The closer to the head unit the better. I put my BLD on top of the panel on the passenger side under the glovebox.

Sweet thought the fan blower would be in the way. Thanks. Would pluging the stock sub wires -/+ into the RF BLD be better and if so do I hook up both channel to the one channel stock sub wire? Or just one channel to one channel? Thanks.

Nah. You'll want to take the signal from the headunit. Since the BLD is a line driver, as opposed to a line out converter, you'll use it to boost the low-level pre-stock-amp signal. Preamp with a line driver is better than post amp with an LOC because you'll be taking the clean, flat headunit signal instead of the noisey, crossed stock amp signal.
