any way to add backup camera to 6MT/Navi?

I think you can add a backup camera if you have the whole movie setup goin to the nav, but I just want a backup camera to display the back on my navi screen when I put my 6MT into reverse.

right like I said, I don't want to add all the other glitz and glamor, so I didn't know if there was another option to the unit provided by av electronics

Look for threads mentioning VSokolov.
Its a cheaper single input solution similar to the AV Electronics. There was a group buy previously and might be another in the future.

I tried to link to the original Group Buy Thread but it seems the mods have seen fit to delete it.

Avelectronic.com actually sells a backup camera for the TL. Once you have a video conversion for the navi screen it should be simple.

It's a camera integrated into a license plate.

camera doesnt fit TL. Top of camera hit bottom lip of trunk. You need an additional bracket to lower it.

Williams took out his licens plate lights and stuck a camera through the hole. The gap is open for dirt, water, and animals to crawl up. He used a bullet style camera hanging where the light should be. Not a clean or attractive install in my opinion.
