Any integrated bluetooth replacement out there?

Like most of you, my handsfree link stopped working (07 TL w/ Nav)... tried baking it... worked for 1 day... baked again, worked for one day... so i think its time to let it go.

Im looking to replace it with one but i do not want to loose the steering wheel buttons functionality or the integrated audio commands... is there any system that can do that other than the original one?
Has anyone tried using one from newer Acuras?

I already have the bluttoth/aux thing but i dont like it...

Thanks,
MM

Someone mentioned this one to me in my wanted thread in the black market. Its the USA-Spec BT45-Hon. Supposedly, it adds bluetooth that is for the most part a factory replacement. However, there are some drawbacks. I will let you do your own research. Other then that I am not aware of any other factory replacements other then buying a new OEM one, which I may do here soon. I figure if a new one can last another 7-8 years i'll be happy.

I got the USA-Spec BT45-Hon3 in my base 04. Bad is when you are listening to the radio and a text comes through, it will bump me to the aux setting and I have to click back the FM. This may not be the case for you though as this connects to your XM

Since you have an 07 with nav traffic you need a special unit. Believe me I've done trial and error. If you want Bluetooth and option for hands free check out USA-spec bt45 Acu. The Acu is specific for our nav traffic Xm tuner. It plugs into the Xmas tuner at the trunk. I've been using it for about 8 months and love it for the Bluetooth streaming.i have not had the chance to try out the hands free yet as my hfl still works.

I have a couple questions before I spend the $230 on the BT45-HON3.
Quick facts: I have an 06 TL Navi, My DVD Drive in the trunk crapped out on me so now my navi display does not show anything and the Screen above the navi unit doesn't display anything (radio station, volume, etc.) but the A/C Temperature, Modes & the things that pertain to the A/C System. My navi screen is not the problem it's the actual DVD Drive in the trunk as it no longer reads/spins the DVD Disc.

1.) Is it mandatory/absolutely necessary to have the navigation screen & the screen above operating in order to pair/use the BT45-HON3?
2.)Even though the navigation display does not work, is there any chance that the small LED screen above the navigation unit display the music info?

THANKS IN ADVANCE
