Another sucessfull NAVI conversion!!

Hey guys. whats going on? so i finally did it.. i got everything for cheap from a salvaged car, but i will never do this again they way i did it.. next time....if theres a next time.. im gonna separate the wires rather than stripping my car to the bare again... 8 hours later and it worked! i an say it was worth it though! heres the pics..
i basically swapped harness for harness, which was a pain in the ass, i had to even remove the entire dash and steering column.

my buddy derek who helped out

theres a use for the useless tape deck .. lol money clip
everything went back no problems.. no rattles.

Holy fuck. Any point where you had a panic attack looking at half your car in the garage?

nah.. being im a licenced mechanic.. and electrical is one of my best parts made it simple. plus i have stripped tons of cars and done interior conversions. so it wasnt that bad.. but a few of my buddies had panic attacks .. LOL they came int he garage and were like.. wtf.. is this car gonna go back together again lol .. it looks worse then it is even the steering column came out easy

How many screws did you have left over when you were done? I've removed one dash in my life and I'll never do it again. I had about 8 screws left over . Congrats on your successful install!

ROFL - this is why you buy the car with Navi.

God look at that crazy mess! I would never be able to do this conversion to begin with.

Ive ripped out 2 dashes before.. a civic and an integra. wasnt THAT bad.. just looks scary hahah.. I love people who have the balls to do stuff like this! And I hate when lazy (or scared) people post stuff like "you shouldve just bought it from factory with navi" ... lol

Sorry for the vent.. lol .. But Great job man!! only 8 hours is pretty darn good especially since you had to remove the harnesses.. because that is probably the BIGGEST PAIN!

btw how much did the junk yard sell you everything for? you cna pm me if you want.. ive been debating on doing this! Just need the funds..
