If your sure the amplifier is messed up, it's $100 here.

You can check out the Black Market here or your local junkyard.

I am just curious, what problems are you experiencing with your amp/speakers?

In my '05 TL I am getting a buzzing engine noise thru my speakers when the engine is on....but not when key is just in the Acessories mode. Dealer determined it was the Amplifier (39186-SEP-A01) and they wanted $621 installed or $481 for part only. I found new OEM online for $302...still expensive but afraid of buying used at this point as I already paid dealer $140 for diagnosis. UGH.

I think for that price you should go aftermarket.

If you're really set on a stock amp I'll sell you mine cheap. If you aren't happy with it I'll give you a refund and pay the shipping. Its getting thrown away if it doesn't go to someone.

Definitely agree with IHC aftermarket is the way to go especially now that your stock amplifier is dying. The added headroom and clarity from aftermarket is definitely worth it, plus it opens the doors for even greater sound later with aftermarket speakers.

WHERE can I find a true 5 channel amp, Example= 5x75 watts rms. I dont need a sub amp. I just want a clean 5 channel amp to replace the low powered OEM amp. Then replace the speakers afterwards.

I found an Alpine 5 channel amp but it only works with an Alpine head unit.

In this DIGITAL AGE I didnt think it would be SO HARD to find a 5 channel amp that has the same WATTS RMS times 5. EVERYTHING I find is a 4 channel for regular 2 channel stereo and a sub amp. 4x___ + 1X___

There's just no demand for that configuration. I've never seen an amp with 5 equally powered channels. Your best bet is a 6 channel running the whole show and sell your current sub amp or run the 6 channel for your remaining 5 channels and leave one unused.

The only other alternative is to try and find a 5 channel 4+1 amp with a full range sub channel and turn the gain way down on the sub channel. The best I can find is the JL HD with a sub channel that goes up to 10khz.

Some of the class AB amps might have a full range sub channel but it's getting harder and harder to find one of these. Most of the ones I've found are AB on the mid/highs and class D on the sub.

Imho don't go 5 channel route, I did that and I really regret it I wish I would have done seperate components (4 channel or 2 channel depending if your running rears) and a mono sub amplifier. The only 5 channels that have really caught my interest is the JL HD900/5 but it costs quite a bit of change (ask IHC) and the Hifonics Zeus ZXi60.4 + 1K but I have heard that newer Hifonics don't do rated power so unsure if it really is worth it. Theres probably more out there that are good but those are just the two that I looked at that seemed worthwhile to me.
NVM Im sorry failed to see the part where you said equal wattage oops.
