Aftermarket Nav systems?
Aftermarket Nav systems?
Screen on my nav doesn't work well when the inside of my car is hot now (especially the lower part of the screen which means I can't get the ok button to work and start the system) but works fine once it cools off. Seems that reman OEM systems are drying up but there are aftermarket direct fit versions now available. Anyone replace their OEM nav with an aftermarket direct fit unit? Ebay reviews on the systems are decidedly mixed. Or would I be better off waiting for a reman OEM unit popping up again?
you still cant replace the entire navigation screen and brain since it controls the ac. the only way to get a new navigation is to install a tablet or install a double din for the radio location, the downside about the double din is that you now have two screens with one being pretty useless
I have, the main one sold seems to have had a bad batch because some people had all sorts of issues, but most didn't.
On the Accord, the manual functions are controlled by the nav, the automatic settings by buttons. I would for sure lose my trip computer though.
