input on aftermarket alarm systems

i'm getting new wheels and would like to know the best way to protect them. aside from wheel locks, any other suggestions? how about aftermarket alarm systems? which type of alarm systems are best? and if you're in the LA area, any recommendations on good and reputable alarm install shops? thanks !

some brands offer a tilt sensor that can detect when the car is being lifted off the ground.

there are poximity sensors that detect people getting close to the car...some have dual zones (to protect the inside say if you have a convertible) and are adjustable.

don't go for the zone sensor models, you may get someone that kicks your car after your car says "stay back armed by viper"

get one with a tow sensor, or add a few shock sensors, i have 2 on my cubevan one in the front and one for the box
