Those of you with aftermarket amps, where do you mount them? I do not want to mount it to the back of the seats. Is it possible to mount it to the bottom of the rear deck? Or if we have enough room to mount behind trunk panels?

 

In my previous 00 Accord I found it very easy to mount the amp behind the seats. But the material behind the TL seats is too soft to support an amp mounted on them. So I ended up mounting mine behind the sub box and have been very happy with it there.

when placing the amps under the seats... does it get in the way of any of the electronics under the seat? in the way of the floor mats?

Did you have to remove the seats in order to bolt down the amps?

 

you really don't need to remove the seats.. you can take off the 4 bolts and tilt it back. doesn't get in the way of anything under the seat.. you don't need to bolt them down.. i used a couple pieces of velcro and it stays put.. the rear end of the amp sits on part of the floor mat.
