HFL Interference with V710

My wife has a V710 which is paired with the TL. If she is speaking on the phone and I pull within range, she can't continue the conversation and yet the call is not being transferred to the HFL (although I suppose it could be if I told HFL to transfer it).

Do other people experience this? Any suggestions or solutions?

TIA,

-DMR.

yeah, i had something like this happen to me today. i was talking on the cell outside of my car, which was "turned on" but not running, and all of a sudden, i heard a beep and i couldn't hear/talk on the phone anymore. i closed the phone and opened it back up, but the call timer was still going... apparently, the call had automatically transfered to the car.

i walked away from the car a little more, and it transfered back to the phone. i tend to walk around when im on the phone, and was coming in and out of the HFL range. the v710 does ask you whether you'd like to stay on the handset or not... that's what the beep was for.

if it's your wife's phone, have the bluetooth turned off unless she wants to paired to the car. i have mine always on because i don't want to deal with turning it on & off everytime.

my wife too has a v710, her BT is off, wonder what would happen if i paired hers with it too, and we both were in the car, I wonder which phone the TL would "pick" when we got in.

We have that & leave both on. Whichever one the car senses 1st is the one. If that person then goes 30 ft away from the car (like into a store to buy the paper), the other one takes over.
