Nokia N900 will fully function on an 07' Base TL

 

just got an iphone 4 , gonna pair it tonight, was wondering if theirs any issues with that phone or does it work well?

and one more question, whats the commands to sync the phone book? never done it before.

 

Got my LG Voyager to Sync! Doesn't retrieve contacts but I didn't think it would.

The battery and signal meters are not correct though. They showed half despite the phone shows full on both.

 

Anybody tried the Casio Brigade phone ? thinking about getting it and want to know it would work?

I have an HTC TILT2 and it will somtimes pair and other times it tells me that it cannot pair and goes back to the main menu. II just bought my TL type S over the weekend and still finding things out about it...

 

Has anyone confirmed if a Samsung Intercept (Virgin Mobile) will work with a 2004 Acura TL? I just ordered one so i am hoping it will.

 

Anyone know if LG Lotus Elite or Samsung Restore is compatible with 04 TL (Sprint provider, if it pertains)?

I just upgraded to the LG Vortex from Verizon. Android 2.2 and it works with HFL. I'm in an 06TL, btw.
There was a bit of wonkiness getting them paired, but that seems to be an Android peculiarity. You just have to let the phone pair with the car instead of the usual way.
I haven't had much time to play with everything, but I'll update as I go.

 

This phone paired just fine and supports most of the BT and voice commands for my 08 TL. This phone is currently running android 2.1 which, itself, has some BT limitations (e.g. PBAP - phone book access profile).

 

I can also confirm that the Verzion Fascinate pairs and functions well. This phone is another variation of the Samsung Galaxy S phone. These all run the Andriod o/s with either the 2.1 or 2.2 version.

 

just tried to connect my nokia 3711 to my 2005 tl, no dice. I noticed it is not amongst the listed nokias at the start of this thread. So even though my phone has bluetooth capability, which I enabled, that is no guarantee of compatibility?

Just want to make sure it's not user error!

I have Verizon and I'm looking for a new phone to pair with my 2005 TL but the store cannot "guarantee" it to work with my car, and the Acura handsfree link has outdated models listed as compatible. I was thinking to get the Samsung IntensityII model. Has anyone had success with this one, or can you suggest an updated phone that does work with the 2005 TL ??? Help!!!

No luck with a pair of Samsung Droid Charges 04 TL

 

could not find the edit button. Any way I had to delete all the phones from the car. Then in the bluetooth settings I had to turn on discovery and make visible then start the pairing process then it worked. It would not pair with my wifes other phone still paired for some reason hope this helps.

So the Verizon Droid Charge does pair shows battery and signal strength.

No luck with a HTC Sensation either. Model year is 2004.

 

I managed to pair it on my 08 TL-S but I got to say that on any Windows Phone the imported phone book will be a mess.

 

I would like to add that my HTC Inspire 4G works, however I had to select "search for devices" on the phone, along with initiating the pairing process on the car. It would not pair until I did this.

 

Xperia play paired. Cannot send contacts but can add through hfl.

 

Samsung Professional Propel SGH-i627 works in my 06

The only annoying thing is that placing a call with the car I have to toggle the hands free option in my phone to get the audio to swap to the car. The audio goes right to the car when receiving a call though.

It's probably because it's a Windows phone, never again will I buy another.....battery life sucks and it turns on and off at random sometimes when I have unread emails. lol

 

LG Optimus 3D works great for anyone who has had their 04-08TL shipped to Europe. (Though it blows not being able to use Nav/XM/Homelink (because of the freq.of German Garage Doors)

 

HTC EVO 4G Rooted here with a different rom and everything works minus Acura Link thing lol. The screen shows signal strength and battery level.

 

iPhone 3GS/4/4S with iOS 5.1 works without hesitation on 2006 TL.

Samsung Nexus Galaxy works great with my 04! In fact its the first phone to auto transfer the call when I place a call from the phone

 

I have an '05 TL. i connected the phone to the bluetooth although i would like to also hear the music that is on my phone through the car as well. any suggetions via blutooth or simple wiring and i do not want to get one of those tapes with the wire attached.

 

Just bought an 06 TL. Paired it with my Droid Bionic. Works flawlessly.

 

Not sure if this was posted also but I found this (http://www.handsfreelink.com/) also. It lists all the features available for your car's trim level per phone.
