2008 TL No Navigation or Backup Camera Display
2008 TL No Navigation or Backup Camera Display
Hey folks, I recently picked up a 2008 TL/AT. I've owned several 3G TL's over the years and hands down, this one is the best of the bunch. When I test drove it, I honestly don't remember if I ever checked whether the Navigation or backup camera was working. I bought it just before I left on a 2+ week vacation. When I got back the battery was completely dead, so I disconnected the HFL and trickle charged the battery back to life. When I start and drive the car, there is nothing on the Navi screen. There seems to be "light" in it, but it's still not displaying anything. I was able to enter the radio code so that's working, but I still have no navigation or backup camera.
Just looking for the best way to troubleshoot this issue. All suggestions welcome!

Just went back through my photos of when I first inspected the car and the display was working. I'd pulled up the diagnostic menu on the screen so there wasn't any issue at the time. Is there any relation between the HFL and the display? Again, the only things I've done since I returned from vacation is disabled the HFL and recharged the battery. Thx again!
